Apologies for this week’s late upload – life briefly and rudely intruded.
To celebrate our 10th episode, we invited a guest onto the pod! Marnie Vinall is a journo for the ABC who writes about the AFLW and diversity and inclusion at all levels of the game. It was a real pleasure having her on.
The four of us chatted – a lot, it was another long episode! – about Ken Hinkley’s appointment as Tasmania’s inaugural AFL coach, the opportunity cost of Essendon’s incredible upset win over the Giants, the progress that’s been made and is still yet to be made when it comes to making footy a welcoming environment for everyone, and about the upcoming AFLW season.
New episodes of 110 Percenters are published here. You can also find us wherever you get your podcasts, including:
Listener feedback will be key to making us better, so if you took the time to listen, please also consider taking the time to rate and review the show.
I’ve put links to Cody, Jonathan, and Marnie’s writing after the jump. Their work is the best in the business. I’ve also added a link to friend of the pod Mim Birch’s great piece about Patrick Voss, and other friend of the pod SgtButane’s brilliant Footy Redraft game (not recommended if you have important things to do with your time!).
